I liked how the story points out the difference between how kids and adults perceive things. The relationship of the little boy with his grandma is quite endearing. 'This story about a timid boy named Ronan finding self-confidence from a friendship with Scoot the scutellosaurus dinosaur is heartwarming. Scoot manages to stay hidden in a beautiful garden in Sri Lanka only to appear to someone with imagination. Together, they explore the over grown garden and have interesting conversations. I enjoyed the relationship between the shy boy and his grandmother. It was lovely to see how the older generation help guide the younger one. It is a wonderful book to have a read-a-long with the young reader in your life!'
